Reviews Delivery Methods: Download, S3, and SMTP

How to choose and configure where your review purchases and subscription deliveries go - a download link, your own Amazon S3 bucket, or email via SMTP. Product data exports are configured separately.

Reviews Delivery Methods

This page covers delivery for review purchases and subscriptions specifically - one-time batches and monthly subscriptions both go out one of three ways. Set yours in Data Settings from your dashboard.

Download Link (default)

No setup needed. Each review purchase or subscription delivery shows up in your dashboard's export/purchase history with a download link. This is the default for every new account.

Amazon S3

Point review deliveries at your own S3 bucket instead of downloading manually - useful if you're feeding data straight into a pipeline. In Data Settings, switch delivery to S3 and provide:

  • Bucket - the S3 bucket name
  • Region - the bucket's AWS region
  • Access Key ID and Secret Access Key - credentials with write access to that bucket
  • Path (optional) - a folder prefix inside the bucket; leave blank to upload to the bucket root

Every file is uploaded privately (not publicly readable) as soon as it's ready - no manual download step.

SMTP Email

Have each review delivery emailed as an attachment instead. In Data Settings, switch delivery to SMTP and provide your mail server's Host, Port, Username, and Password, plus the Deliver To address you want it sent to.

Emails are always sent from hello@beautyfeeds.io - that's fixed on our side and isn't something you configure, so there's no separate "From" address to set up.

Which one should I use?

Download Link is the simplest starting point for occasional purchases. S3 suits teams already piping data into a warehouse or pipeline. SMTP is a lightweight middle ground if you just want deliveries to land in an inbox without logging in to download them.

Looking for product data delivery instead?

Reviews and product data exports are configured separately. Scheduled product exports (pricing, ingredients, catalog data) are set up in Tracking Configs, not Data Settings.
